Crime doesn’t pay, particularly when you’re stupid.
A pair of opportunistic thieves decided to venture into the world of armed robbery last week when they held up a 7-11 in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Like a scene from a darkly funny gangster movie, the criminal “masterminds” decided to use a pair of fake pistols.
What they didn’t expect was a security guard bearing a remarkable resemblance to Ving Rhames who walked through the door just seconds later. Without any hesitation, the guard opens fire and wounds both young thugs.
He calmly walks to the counter, leans over, and shoots one armed robber a second time.
What follows is a magnificent conversation befitting the likes of Marsellus Wallace, Rhames’ character from the 1994 film Pulp Fiction.
Robber Number One: “It’s fake!” *BANG* “It’s fake! It’s FAKE!”
Security Guard: “Oh well, mine is real. GET UP! Put your hands behind your back!”
*Gestures to the cashier*
Security Guard: “Call 911.”
Robber Number Two: “Am I shot?!”
Security Guard: “Oh f**k yeah!”
The video below went viral late last week. There’s no way to know if it’s real or an expertly crafted piece of fiction. Either way, it’s pretty badass.
