Communication is key while piloting a 2 ton vehicle in a sea of other vehicles, but sadly drivers are limited to little more than a horn and a few flashing lights.
This engineer has developed a modular horn system to offer drivers more options with just the touch of a button.
He’s left the regular horn in place, which is still the best option for preventing an accident, but notes that “99% of the time” he’s using his horn for other reasons.
One button gives a quick double tap which is a great way to warn or acknowledge another driver.
The big red button blasts an air horn used for a locomotive engine, this is great for those times the regular horn just isn’t loud enough.
The final button can be programmed to be whatever you want.
