Sig Sauer has just unveiled what is supposed to be the “ultimate EDC.”
The P365 is a striker-fired micro-compact 9mm that’s basically the Sig version of a Glock G43. The pistol comes with a 10 round flush-fit magazine, but 12-round extended magazines can be purchased for an additional $55. The P365 also features a slim rail for under-barrel flashlights and lasers.
Sig’s website describes their new pistol, “Introducing the game changing P365 High-Capacity Micro-Compact. The revolutionary new concealed carry pistol that gives you more capacity, more concealability and more capability. It’s the one gun you can carry every day of the year.”
“As a company, we are relentless in our quest to be better – to constantly improve upon our existing products and to design and build superior products than those currently on the market,” said Sig President Ron Cohen. “The P365 is a result of this push. We built this pistol around our new, proprietary magazine for maximum concealability, capacity and shootability. The P365 is a pistol for professionals and civilians alike who want a smaller, high-performance pistol that does it all. This is the ultimate, everyday concealed carry pistol.”
The P365 measures 1″ wide, 5.8″ long, and 4.3″ tall with a 3.1″ barrel. It weighs 17.8 ounces empty and has an MSRP just under $600.
