Matt’s got a CMMG Anvil in .458 Socom and a fresh plate of level III+ steel body armor.
With 150 cartridges with bullets that are basically mini-missiles, Matt is ready for a great day on the ranch.
The goal today is to see how much punishment the armor can take with different versions of the .458 caliber. The real question is, which will give out first, the armor or Matt’s shoulder?
When the plate finally breaks, it’s not from penetration. Like hammering a piece of steel, the plate eventually bent so far it simply fractured from the strain.
