A beautiful knife can be built from all sorts of found items.
In the video below, Steve from the Green Beetle forges a blade from short piece of braided cable.
“Do not use galvanized or coated cable for forging,” he explains in the YouTube description. “These are the most commonly available cables (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes and even online wire rope retailers) and will release poisonous fumes.”
The result is a truly unique blade unlike anything you’ll find in stores.
