The all new IWI X95 rifle joins the Tavor family with a bang. This compact carbine chambered in 5.56mm brings a few upgrades to the table that have left early reviewers more than pleased. It’s been called ‘the most ergonomic bullpup on the market’ with a relocated charging handle, modular pistol grip, and low-profile bolt release button. The ambidextrous mag release has been repositioned for improved reloading efficiency and the handgaurd can be removed in favor of a more traditional pistol grip.
The X95 weighs just under 8 lbs. with a 16.5″ barrel and a closed rotating bolt long stroke gas piston. It also features a folding front sight with a Tritum insert for improved sight picture in low light conditions. With a 5-6 lb. trigger pull, the X95 in an incredibly user friendly firearm that hopes to draw more shooters into the bullpup family.
