The term “social justice warrior,” or SJW, has been thrown around a lot lately.
Google defines this term as “a person who expresses or promotes socially progressive views.” Sometimes those views extend way beyond the extreme left and exit the political map completely.
Funny Social Justice Warrior Fails
From calling a professor racist after he correcting a student’s grammar to complaining about “fart rape,” social media has been flooded with some of the most ridiculous messages we’ve ever seen.
Here are 13 times SJWs completely lost touch with reality.
Over the past few years a few specific Social Justice Warriors have stood out from the crowd of offended masses. These angry young men and women managed to leave their mark on the internet through viral videos, which were quickly converted into funny gifs and memes for your enjoyment.
The name Trigglypuff is a play on the Pokemon character Jigglypuff, a fat little sprite that grows stronger as it gets happier. Trigglypuff, on the other hand, seems to grow stronger (or at least angrier) as she get more and more triggered.
According to Know Your Meme, Trigglypuff was born on August 25, 2016 when a morbidly obese Hampshire College student began protesting a University of Massachusetts Amherst open forum titled “The Triggering.” The point of the event was to discuss the effect of polarizing PC movements on the college campus. The enraged young woman began screaming insults and obscenities at host Christina Hoff Sommers. The young lady, who would forever become known as Trigglypuff, was so obnoxious she began drawing boos from the crowd.
Someone sitting infront of her took a video, which quickly went viral. It has since been edited and re-edited for comedic effect.
Chanty Binx, aka Big Red, is a feminist from Toronto, Canada who became an infamous SJW mean after she was filmed arguing with a men’s rights activist.
Her argument was uploaded to YouTube on April 5, 2013 where it slowly gained 750,000 views over two years. According to Google Trends, the video reached an all time search interest in May, 2017. Elements of Big Red’s rant, like the phrase “Patriarchy!” and “Shut The F*** UP,” have been cut into gifs and are often used as a mocking representation of Social Justice Warriors.
The name Big Red comes from Binx’s bright red hair-do and her larger-than life personality.
Making A Mockery Of Madness
While Social Justice Warriors can be annoying, they are very good at one thing: creating fodder for some of the funniest videos on the internet.
Here are some of our favorite videos by JP Sears, a funny guy who’s made mockery his business. On his YouTube Channel AwakenWithJP, Sears criticizes various elements of the SJW community through his “enlightened” alter ego.
Take a look at some of his best pieces of satire below.
How Social Justice Warriors Win An Argument
In this video JP’s plays a typical keyboard warrior, a subclass of the SJW community. “Being a social justice warrior is tough work. But you’re welcome that I’m out to vigilantly protect the world from everybody but me,” he explains in character. “As long as my keyboard is in front of me, I can say anything to anyone without consequence.”
Vegan Social Justice Warriors
While not all vegans are SJWs, there are more than enough to help create this hilarious stereotype.
There’s nothing worse than sitting down to enjoy a nice burger only to have your meal ruined by a friend, co-worker, or family member who has just discovered the joy of being vegan. They know they’re right, and it’s important that you know it too.
Here’s what it would sound like if meat eaters acted like vegan SJWs.
How To Get Offended
Did you know that most Social Justice Warriors aren’t born being easily offended?
Being offended is a finely honed skill that can take years to master. After learning how to be offended, a Social Justice Warrior can teach other people how not to see things from their point of view.
