Second Class Petty Officer Jacqueline Carrizosa will be the sole woman competing in a 300 person motor bike race across the Nevada desert. The 26-year-old Navy veteran turned Hollywood consultant, model, and fitness fanatic will be cruising over 640 miles of scorching desert to raise money for military veterans and families in the 2016 Vegas To Reno the Long Way race. Her goal is to raise $50,000 through sponsorship on her Go Fund Me page for the Veterans Training Fund, which provides scholarships and training programs for veterans transitioning their military expertise into civilian careers.
Carrizosa served on active duty as a Gunners Mate from 2007 to 2011 on the CVN 76 USS Ronald Reagan. While in the Navy Inactive Reserves between 2012 and 2015, Carrizosa worked with Universal Studios as a military technical advisor. She frequently participates in other charitable motor bike races like Vegas To Reno.
She also wants to remind everyone that some girls who pose with weapons in a bikini actually know how to use them.
