Master craftsman Theo Cook shows us a brilliant piece of woodwork that’s as difficult to craft as it is gorgeous to behold.
In the video below Cook demonstrates how his handcrafted Japanese Sunrise dovetail joint fits together.
Cook has been crafting wooden furniture for more than 20 years. For more than two decades he has studied and worked at some of the finest woodshops around the globe.
During that time Cook was awarded with two Guild Mark certificates by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. The Guild Mark is a prestigious award that demands absolute excellence from designers in the field of furniture making. To earn the award a craftsman must present his work to a panel of 10 judges.
Cook now teaches woodworking at the Robinson House Studio in the UK.
His skill is absolutely incredible.
